Ex Fox News Host Gretchen Carlson Speaks on Sexual Harassment In New Book Tour

Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson reached a $20 million settlement after filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against the late Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, and in her new book Be Fierce: Stop Harassment and Take Your Power Back, she’s opens up even more.

As she told People magazine: “The decision to go up against a powerful and well-known harasser is an excruciating choice, made with the knowledge that your own reputation and career could be destroyed. I couldn’t stand the thought that a new generation of girls, including my daughter, might have to face similar indignities.”

Gretchen is going on tour with the book and hopes people will come to learn about sexual assault. She added: “This empowered me to reach out to all of the women who contacted me after my story broke — to give them a voice they never had — and to inspire all of us to to be fierce in our lives.”

Be Fierce follows Gretchen’s personal experience of sexual assault, from interviews she’s conducted to every day situations. With it, she hopes to empower men and women to push back against it.
