People are asking themselves: “Will Will & Grace continue with the original ending?” ever since the revival was announced. Now, its star Debra Messing is opening about why they’re choosing to nix the original series finale.

“I think it was after we shot the first episode live in front of the audience, that’s when it hit me,” she spoke. “I mean, we all came out and we realized that it’s another show night like exactly like 11 years ago and we all just got very teary-eyed.”

On changing the series finale ending: “It made complete sense to me, because if we had kids then the show would be about Will and Grace as parents, and if we ignored the kids and just focused on the four of us then we would be bad parents, and no one wants to see Will and Grace be bad parents. “=So, we’re back to the four of us, which is really where it all began and where the magic sort of lives.”

I for one am completely okay with this!
