12-Year Old Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farme Wins ‘America’s Got Talent’

After 52 million votes, Tyra Banks announced that the winner of America’s Got Talent was 12-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer. And the second she heard the news, Darci broke down in sobs — hugging her rabbit puppet Petunia, of course!

Darci is only the third female act to win in all its 12 seasons, can you believe that?

She totally won America’s heart from her first audition. Simon Cowell even said, “I think you’re going to win” after seeing her performance of The Beatles’ “With a Little Help From My Friends.”

In fact, she was such a favorite from the judges that Mel B gave her the golden buzzer, which means he gets sent straight to the finals!
