Sarah Paulson to Play Nurse Ratched In ‘Cuckoo’s Nest’ Prequel!
You know that crazy nurse from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest? Well she’s getting her own show starring Sarah Paulson, created by the wonderful Ryan Murphy of course!
The two are basically the dream team collaborators, and the new Netflix-produced series will be set in 1947 (the film is set in the mid-1970s). The original Nurse Ratched was played by Louise Fletcher, and it won her an Oscar.
Netflix greenly the project for two seasons, marking Ryan’s first streaming series.
The pilot script is written by Evan Romansky, and Sarah will have a producing hand in it as well. We can’t wait!
