Lady Gaga was definitely dealt a broken heart from her ex-boyfriend Taylor Kinney, who randomly showed up at her show in Chicago a couple weeks ago. But she’s clearly over it and admitted to fans at Citi Field during her two-day NYC stop that she’s “in love” with her new man Christian Carino.

“When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was OK,” Gaga said during the concert. “The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall.”

While it began to rain that night, she didn’t seem to bat an eyelash: “I have always prayed for rain so I could have my Diana Ross moment like she had in Central Park.”
