Dear Evan Hansen has become one of Broadway’s breakout hits this year, and with it, it’s star Ben Platt (who also appears on Orange Is The New Black) is rising up.
It’s unclear exactly what happened to prompt his recent Twitter post, but apparently some people in the audience of his show were using phones — which is a big no no in the theater. But Ben is a nice guy, so let it down gently.
“It’s easy to feel helpless in this time of unrest,” he wrote. “May I offer some easy and totally doable positive action? Turn your phone off at a show.”
