Our eyes can always deceive us, that’s for sure. But when we’re a little wine-drunk, things are almost never what they appear to be.

Comedian/writer Hannah Murphy’s mom recently mistook a dachshund for a purse — and Hannah snapped a pic to see if we ourselves can tell the difference. Apparently, her mom was holding a glass of sauvignon blanc and making googly eyes at a cute little puppy over at the next table.

LOL. Simple mistake.
