Despite an alleged multi-million dollar offer to stay at Yahoo, Katie Couric decided it was time to move on and resigned last Friday, reports Page Six.

While the exact figure isn’t known, sources say that in spite of mixed results and so-so ratings as Yahoo’s “Global News Anchor,” the site’s new owners made her a lucrative offer.

Katie was hired in 2013, when Marissa Mayer was the CEO, and stayed until the company was sold to Verizon.
