Tyler Perry is set to play a detective in the season five premiere of ID’s Deadline: Crime With Tamron Hall.

This isn’t the first time Tyler is playing a detective, after all, he played Detective Alex Cross on the big screen. But this time, he will be looking into the case of Terrance Williams, who suddenly disappeared from Naples, Florida in 2004.

The cold case had no leads until 2012, when Investigation Discovery covered it. That’s when Tyler offered a $100,000 bounty for information.
