‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Killed the Box Office
The new Spider-Man: Homecoming, starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spidey, is killing it at the box office during its opening weekend.
The latest reboot of the Marvel Universe brought in an estimated $117 million for its North American opening, according to NBC News.
The adorable web-slinger must be basking in his tights as the film garnered a whopping $257 million around the world this weekend.
According to NBC:
The domestic debut is Sony’s second-highest opening ever and the second-biggest opening for a Spider-Man film behind 2007’s “Spider-Man 3.”
