‘A League of Their Own’ Turns 25
The iconic sports movie starring Geena Davis, Rosie O’Donnell, Madonna and Tom Hanks made its debut 25 years ago.
The 1992 classic, “A League of Their Own,” followed an all-women professional baseball league during World War II.
According to E News, Tom called this job one of the best experiences of his life.
The Penny Marshall-directed flick landed in theaters today in 25 years ago.
According to Buzzfeed:
The movie grossed $107.5 million against a budget estimated to be $40 million, and was nominated for two Golden Globes.
The film made popular the now famous line:
There’s no crying in baseball.
The team called the Rockford Peaches made history and today we celebrate them.
