Holy Crap, Starbucks Has a New Frappuccino Topped With Cake
So, Starbucks keeps coming out with more and more Frappuccino inventions and our hearts (and tummies) can’t take it.
Starbucks Japan just dropped a Frappuccino that is topped with chocolate cake!
That’s right, a small chocolate cake on top of an already sugary concoction. In other words, who’s going with us to Japan?
The new drink comes only a month after Starbucks Japan debuted a limited American Cherry Pie Frappuccino.
In a press release, the drink is described as tasting like almond, chocolate cake, matcha, and probably happiness. To make it, an almond-flavored Frappuccino gets topped with a miniature chocolate cake, a matcha drizzle, and a dollop of whipped cream.
It is limited-edition only, but if you find yourself in Japan between June 14 and July 13, you can get a taste of it.
Starbucks Japan is also releasing a Coffee Shot version, which will be available from June 23 to July 14.
