Burglars broke into David Spade’s house and only took one thing. The problem is, that thing was his safe.

TMZ reports that the comedian’s Beverly Hills home was robbed on Monday, and that the thieves managed to take his safe containing almost $80,000 worth of cash and jewelry, including his mother’s wedding band.

A source close to the 52-year-old told the site that the break-in happened over the weekend. According to the footage TMZ has, the actor had a security system, but it was somehow disabled.

David is one of many celebrities who have robbed recently, including Alanis Morissette, Emmy Possum, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
