It’s official! Modern Family is staying put.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, all 10 stars of ABC’s hit comedy series have signed on to return for a 9th and 10th season, for a total of 44 new episodes.

In a statement yesterday, the show’s co-creator/co-showrunner Steve Levitan said:

“We are beyond thrilled that we get to spend more time with these characters, these amazing actors, our ridiculously talented writers and our incredible crew — all of whom are like family to us. And the good kind of family, not the kind that argues with you all the time.”

Rumor has it that every member of the cast got a nice raise to stay onboard. Since they each reportedly earned $350,000 per episode for season 8, we’re sure they are quite happy with the new agreement.

No word yet on if season 10 will be the last. According to CNN, ABC said, “the door is open for additional seasons beyond that.”
