#CincoDeMayo is Trending: Here’s a Taste!
Today is a day that most people see as a way to celebrate Mexican heritage, by enjoying the food and drink inspired by the country.
Actually, Cinco De Mayo commemorates the “Battle of Puebla” when Mexican soldiers defeated the French army on May 5th in 1862.
The holiday has changed quite a bit from its original meaning, but we are grateful for all the amazing cultural gifts we’ve gained from Mexico!
Twitter is blowing up with tweets and memes. We thought we’d share some of them with you.
