Tucker Carlson’s New Book Is In A $9 Million Bidding War
Okay, $9 million is a lot to pay someone for a book, even if your name is Tucker Carlson!
Apparently, the new host inked a two-book deal with Siman Schuster’s Threshod Editions worth $9 million, sources said to Page Six. Just last week, The Hollywood Reporter said offers could hit as high as $15 million after the host began shopping around a proposed idea for a book.
Publishers say the two books are reportedly “current events-oriented, proactive and funny,” and are even being eyed as a franchise.
Tucker’s show Tucker Carlson Tonight recently moved from 9pm EST to 8pm EST on the Fox News Channel, replacing Bill O’Reilly’s old spot, following Bill’s epic firing.
