Robin Williams’ Last Film Finally Has A U.S. Release Date
Robin Williams’ final film, Absolutely Anything, will finally be enjoyed here in the United States.
The British comedy opened 9 months ago in the U.K., and now Atlas Distribution will officially release it in the states on May 12.
The movie stars Simon Pegg, whose character receives special powers from aliens to do anything he wants, Kate Beckinsale as Simon’s love interest, and Robin plays Simon’s hilarious talking dog. The aliens are voiced by John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam, and Monty Python and Terry Jones directed and co-wrote the film.
Robin Williams passed away on August 11, 2014, and the entertainment world is just not the same without him. We’re excited to experience his comedic genius one last time.
