The star-studded 2017 Met Gala red carpet is going to be fierce!

It’s officially called the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute benefit, in New York.  (We’ll just stick with Met Gala.)

This black-tie extravaganza held the first Monday in May raises money for the Costume Institute.

This evening has been labeled a must see event and described as “the Oscars of the East Coast,” and attracts all types of celebrities.

Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour are all acting co-chairs for the event.
