Justin Guarini has a brand new gig!

The American Idol alum most recently appeared in Broadway’s first a cappella musical, In Transit, and now the singer is joining the cast of another musical. Justin will star as Vincenzo in the upcoming production of The Unsinkable Molly Brown at the St. Louis outdoor theatre from July 21-27.

The title role will be played by Beth Malone, while Kathleen Marshall is attached to choreograph and direct. The show is based on the original book by Richard Morris.

Justin has a pretty long list of Broadway credits at this point, including appearances in Romeo and Juliet, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, American Idiot and Wicked, but he is still best known as American Idol’s first season’s runner-up.
