“Game of Thrones” actors Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are set to make $2.6 million for the last thirteen episodes of the series.  #HolySalary

This would make them the highest-paid actors in television history, passing by the stars of “Friends” and “The Big Bang Theory,” according to independent.co.uk.

The co-showrunner D.B. Weiss told Entertainment Weekly this recently:

“We’ve always wanted to get to a place – story-wise and budget-wise and time-wise and resource-wise – where we would be able to do a proper battle, with one army on one side, one army on another side.”

This whole season is about big budget!  HBO is spending $10 million on each episode, according to Forbes which is an increase from $6 million an episode last season.

Game of Thrones Season 7 arrives on HBO and Sky Atlantic on June 25th.
