Most people who have a child have had a “parenting fail” moment, but being in the public eye makes those moments even bigger. Just ask Anne Hathaway!

The actress stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday and shared an embarrassing incident she had with her 1-year-old son, Jonathan, at the park. The 34-year-old told Jimmy that her son loves to swing, and while the two were enjoying an uneventful day at the park, she noticed several other children using a slide, and got a not-so-bright idea. She said:

“I took him to a park…and he loves swings. And I noticed all these other kids were coming down the slide, and it looked like an unusual slide. Like, maybe it was built before they had child safety measures in place. It was gorgeous, and I noticed the kids weren’t going that fast, so I said, ‘OK, I’ll bring Johnny on.'”

The Colossal star did not factor in physics, however, and the weight of the two of them together caused them to shoot out like a rocket. Check out Anne’s description of exactly what went down in the clip below!

Thankfully, it’s funny now because no one was hurt.
