NFL’s Todd Heap Hits/Kills His 3-Year-Old Daughter in Tragic Car Accident
Baltimore Ravens tight end, Todd Heap, accidentally hit and killed his three-year old daughter with his truck yesterday, according to the Mesa Police Department in Arizona.
According to the report, the toddler was playing in her driveway when Todd moved his truck and accidentally hit her in the process.
“There were no suspicious circumstances to the incident, and impairment does not appear to be a factor,” the police said to Fox 10 in Phoenix.
Todd’s daughter was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
The 37-year old NFL star was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2001. He spent 10 years with the Ravens and even played for the Cardinals in 2011 and 2012 before being injured and forced into retirement.
