Comedian Charlie Murphy Passes Away
Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy’s older brother, passed away today at age 57. The writer and performer had been battling leukemia for some time.
Charlie had a long career in Hollywood, but became a household name writing and staring in Chappelle’s Show, most notably in “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories.” The comedian garnered much respect and love from fellow comics, as seen in Chris Rock’s Twitter tribute below:
