Rumors aren’t the only things flying when it comes to Ryan Phillippe and Katy Perry dating!

Speculation that the two are dating began in March at Elton John’s birthday party, when Katy and Ryan were seen flirting. A source told Hollywood Life,  “[Perry] was totally giggling and at one point [Phillippe] had his hand on her knee.”

Apparently, when paparazzi got wind of the possible union, they began pulling out all the stops to get a glimpse, including flying helicopters above Ryan’s house. The actor took to Twitter yesterday to dispel the rumors, and put an end to the crazy privacy invasions. Check out his tweet below:

I AM NOT DATING KATY PERRY. BARELY KNOW HER. PLEASE STOP FLYING HELICOPTERS OVER MY HOUSE. SHE IS NOT HERE.

When someone commented “I wish people thought I was dating Katy Perry,” Ryan quipped back, “…don’t mind “people” thinking that. don’t want low flying pervs hovering periodically.”
