Legendary Comedian Don Rickles is Dead at 90!

Legendary comedian Don Rickles and honorary Rat Pack member has died at the age of 90 at his home in Los Angeles from kidney failure, his longtime publicist Paul Shefrin confirmed.

His career spanned nearly 60 years, and pioneered the standard of what comedy has become today.

Don was a staple in Las Vegas, where he appeared in numerous nightclubs throughout the 1980s. Later, he became known as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story films.

Born in Manhattan, the beloved comedian studied at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York after serving in the Navy during World War II. He got his start doing standup in clubs in the ‘50s, then transitioned into appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, who became a very close friend.

Even when he was older, the man never stopped working. He constantly toured and appeared in nightclubs across the country and world — and was usually a sell out performer. He even teamed up with another late comedian Joan Rivers. Now that was a performance to see!

We’re going to miss you Don…
