Looks like even ‘Bad Medicine’ couldn’t help Jon Bon Jovi. The singer was forced to end his concert at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh early last night, due to a sore throat.

According to the Pittsburgh Post, Jon had candidly told the audience, “I think I’m singing like s— tonight, and I apologize … but I’m gonna keep pushin’ on and if you stick it out with me, I’ll stick it out with you.” Sadly, though, after 90 minutes of the scheduled two and a half hour show, the 55-year-old apologetically explained that he could not carry on because of the cold he had been battling for days. His publicist said today, “The show wrapped after an hour and a half, as Jon explained, because a cold turned worse. This has been widely reported. Despite his illness, he gave his all.”

The concert was the 25th of the scheduled 31 shows of the tour, which began in early February. The band is scheduled to perform on Friday and Saturday nights at Madison Square Garden.

We wish Jon a speedy recovery!
