I am Heather Ledger is a feature-length documentary about the actor’s journey to becoming a star.

The first trailer was released today, his birthday!

The full film will be released at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 23rd.  If you’d like to see the documentary, it will air on SPIKE TV on May 17th at 10 pm.

Heath sadly died at 28 from an accidental mixture of prescription drugs, leaving behind his daughter.

In the film, Heath reveals an intimate side to himself that was reserved for only his closest friends and family.  It also is shot by Heath himself and captures his personal journey.

We can’t wait to watch.

Heath would have been 38 today.
