Nate Berkus & Jeremiah Brent Say Their Home is ‘Fueled By Love’ (ADORBS!)

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are the two coolest (and trendiest) dads on the planet — at least we think so!

Their adorable daughter Poppy just turned two, and apparently she might need to get ready to be a big sister.

“I think you can see that we’re just like you, and that’s the exciting part of it. Being two gay dads with a daughter and a family that we hope to grow some day,” Jeremiah said to People magazine. The couple is getting ready for their upcoming TLC show Nate & Jeremiah By Design. “The truth is we’re fueled by love, we love our daughter, we love being at home. I like cooking. I like playing with her. I like being with my husband. And I think it’s an opportunity to show people that the main commonality is love.”

He continued: “We both believe the real power is in education and showing people and opening up the doors and letting them know that we love the way you love, we eat dinner the way you eat dinner. Everything about us is the same, and as cliché as the saying is, love is love. That’s exactly what the show is about.

Apparently, Poppy is not camera shy (we’re not surprised!).

“Poppy is not shy about anything, which is terrifying,” Jeremiah said. “She is a force of nature. Every day she shows us a different type of life that we never imagined for ourselves. She is the best thing that ever happened to us.“= She’s obsessed with the tape measure. She has to measure everything. I said to my husband the other day, ‘You know it’s the daughter of two decorators when she grabs a tape measure and just starts measuring things.’”

Don’t miss Nate & Jeremiah By design, premiering April 8 on TLC!
