Sharon Osbourne’s Health Scare Left Her Unable to Walk

After a six week absence from The Talk, our favorite British diva Sharon Osbourne returned to a roaring crowd, and with loads of stories (of course).

Sharon had to take a break due to a back injury, which required surgery and left her unable to walk.

“I was at home, I was playing with my granddaughters,” she explained on today’s show. “I was on the floor with them playing with toys and I got up. And as I got up from the floor… I felt this big twist in my back at the base of my spine and I didn’t think anything of it and then that night, it was really, really hurting. I thought it was because I put weight on again because when I put weight on, I get back pain, and I’m like, ‘I got to go on a diet,’ and the next day, I couldn’t walk. What had happened was I had done my L-3 and L-4 discs damage and the L-3 had kind of mushed up but it entangled around a nerve. So it was pressing on this nerve on my back that affected my legs [and] I couldn’t walk properly.”

She continued: “They tried to do it with an epidural to ease the pain and that didn’t do any good. So I had to go in and have surgery. And I’ve been in bed doing nothing. My life is just been like nothing, and this is the best medicine I could ever have!”

We missed you, Sharon!

Let’s throw it back to when 50 Shades of Darker star Jamie Dornan surprised her with a visit:
