Ed Sheeran Gives Credit to Former TLC Writers for ‘Shape of You’

Ed Sheeran is adding some credits to his hit song “Shape of You.” We aren’t 100% sure what went down, but all seems to be positive. We would love to have been a fly on the wall for those negotiations.
Here’s what happened. A bunch of peeps on social media brought attention to the similarities between Ed’s song and TLC‘s hit “No Scrubs.” Now the songwriters are being credited!
Kandi Burruss and Tameka Cottle from Xscape, as well as Kevin Briggs, are now listed as co-writers.
Tameka AKA Tiny wrote this in an email to The Associated Press:
