Police Helicopters Respond to 911 Call at Director Michael Bay’s LA Mansion

Director Michael Bay is known for directing some intense action scenarios, like the ones in Transformers, but the guy saw real life action outside his Bel Air mansion last night.

According to Page Six, neighbors (who for the most part are celebrities themselves in this neighborhood) were awaken by two police helicopters with searchlights hovering above Michael’s 30,000 square foot lavish estate — a half-dozen LAPD squad cars were outside the premises too.

Apparently, Michael had called the police believing someone sneaked onto his property and posed an “imminent danger,” thus requiring the need for two massive helicopters. We’re sure that robber was scared to bits!

Michael’s directing style is nicknamed “Bayhem,” due to the intensity of his shots and explosive scenes (like in Armageddon). But that’s in the movies. It looks like this is a case of art reflecting life…?

Neighbors include such people as Meg Ryan, Jennifer Aniston, and Elon Musk. They were most likely not smiling at the incident, as the police and helicopters stood by for some time.

No comment from LAPD or Bay’s reps.
