Kristen Bell Can’t Go To Ellen DeGeneres’ House Because ‘It’s Bad For My Marriage’
Ellen DeGeneres is a threat to Kristen Bell’s marriage to Dax Shepard, but it’s not quite the way you may be thinking!
When Dax stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, he talked about his new fabulous La-Z-Boy chair, a touchy subject between the actor and the Mrs. Kristen bought the recliner for Dax’s office, but when it didn’t fit in there, it ended up right smack dab in the middle of the living room. The couple has been battling it out over this ever since. Take a look:
So after Dax got his side of it out there, Kristen shared her side when she visited the show today. When Ellen showed the audience the above photo of the chair scenario, Kristen said, “It’s my fault — I bought it. Can you believe that?!”
Though Kristen initially took the blame, she puts a lot of it on Ellen as well. She said, “But also, this is kind of your fault, and he pointed that out. The thing is, I actually maybe would have gone for it had I not come to your house and seen how jaw-droppingly elegant it was. I can’t come to your house anymore, that’s the point. I wanted to tell you: I can’t come over anymore. It’s bad for my marriage.”
As the conversation centered on their marriage, Ellen said, “You’re together, and you’re in a monogamous relationship, as far as I know,” to which Kristen replied, “As far as I know as well.” The actress said that they still allow each other crushes, and her top choice is Riz Ahmed, followed closely by Dateline‘s Keith Morrison.
But we’re not worried. Kristen and Dax are just so darn adorable together. Dontcha think?
