No matter how big a star you are, you’re never too “yuge” to Trump.

In a recent interview with Rollacoaster Magazine, One Direction singer Liam Payne disclosed an unpleasant encounter the band had with Donald Trump before he became president.

During a stay at one of his famous New York hotels, the boys got a call asking them to meet Trump’s daughter. Since they were sleeping, they declined. Apparently, Trump was so outraged by their response that he no longer wanted them in the hotel, and gave them the boot! Liam said,

 “Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once. You wouldn’t believe it. It was about [meeting] his daughter. He phoned up our manager, and we were asleep. He said, ‘Well, wake them up,’ and I was like, ‘no,’ and then he wouldn’t let us use the underground garage. Obviously in New York, we can’t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us.”

With no other choice, the band packed up their stuff and left. Liam said, “”So he was like, ‘Okay, then I don’t want you in my hotel,’ so we had to leave.”

Though Liam didn’t disclose which daughter it was, it seems most likely to have been Tiffany based on her age. But who knows, maybe it was secretly The Donald who wanted a selfie!
