The legendary singer Celine Dion is coming to The Voice, and she’s bringing not only her incredible talent in music, but her wisdom as one of the greatest careers in show business. But before she hit it big, her late husband René Angélil had some pretty solid advice.

In a sneak peek of her upcoming visit as a mentor to Gwen Stefani’s team, she said, ““What I like about The Voice is I get to be stunned by amazing talents. This is the new generation.”

As she spoke to the youngsters, she said, “My husband is always with me. He said, ‘You cannot be good all the time. You have to be good when it’s time.’”

The 48-year old singer looked incredibly pleased watching the talented singers, especially Sammie Zonana and Johnny Gates, who covered her 2003 single “I Drove All Night,” which was a cover a Cyndi Lauper’s 1989 hit. Other legends will also be mentoring the contestants — John Legend, DJ Khalend and Luke Bryan just to name a few.
