Ewan McGregor Finds It Hilarious That No One Shows Up To His Press Junket!
It never feels good to be stood up, but this dis takes it to a whole new level!
Ewan McGregor showed up as scheduled to the press junket for his new film, T2: Transporting, in New York City on Tuesday, but sadly, he was the only one who did!
The actor took to Instagram to share his epic press fail, writing, “T2 press day. NY. Where are the press though.”
He laughed it off with similar pic showing himself waving at the end of the barren hallway with the caption, “Well I am here!”
On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Ewan said, “Nobody really showed, no. We did all the interviews by phone, yeah. We got there, but none of the journalists did,” and added that, “Usually there’s probably about, I don’t know, 50 to 100 reporters come in and out.”
Turns out the reason wasn’t “they’re just not into you” though. The huge winter storm, Stella, happened that day, and closed down many of the subways in NYC.
Throw Ewan a much deserved bone and go see T2: Trainspotting in theaters this Friday!
