Snoop Dogg is a man with a message. The rapper just released a new video, and it definitely captured attention!

The song, “Lavender” features Snoop Dogg and Kaytranada, and is a remixed version of the original BADBADNOTGOOD song. In the shocking video, most of the people are dressed as clowns, including a clown representing President Trump. There was even a TV  broadcasting news from “The Clown House” with a headline that reads, “Ronald Klump wants to deport all dogs.”

Definitely not subtle! But the kicker is when Snoop takes out a toy gun, aims it at a cigarette-smoking “Trump”, and pulls the trigger, releasing the “bang” flag. Check it out:

Snoop opened up to Billboard about his motivation for the video. He said:

“The whole world is clownin’ around.” He continued, “I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f–king clown as president. And the s–t that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being.”

Not everyone is feeling the video though, including Republican senator, Marco Rubio. Though a self-proclaimed hip-hop fan, Marco felt that what Snoop portrayed was dangerous. He told TMZ:

“Snoop shouldn’t have done that … You know, we’ve had presidents assassinated before in this country, so anything like that is really something that you should be very careful about. I think people could disagree on policy, but we got to be very careful about that kind of thing. Because [if] the wrong person sees that and gets the wrong idea, you could have a real problem.” He added, “I’m not sure what Snoop was thinking. He should think about that a little bit.”
