Whoopi Goldberg Responds to a Fake News Story About Her, Plans to Sue!

If there’s one lady you don’t ever want to mess with, it’s Whoopi Goldberg. Not only will she out-wit you, but she will take firm action against you to stop it from ever happening again — and that’s exactly what she plans to do.

After a fake news story leaked alleging that Whoopi slammed the Navy Seal widow who was featured during Donald Trump’s congressional speech, the host shared on The View on Monday morning that she plans on taking legislative action stating no one should ever write a “fake news” story on someone without their permission.

The story put her and her family in danger, assuming they received multiple death threats due to the fake story, which was apparently written by a guy in Costa Rica who just wanted to see how quickly stores he made up would spread.

Speaking directly at the guy in question, she said, “Clearly, you don’t care what could’ve happened to me or to my family. Man, I’m telling you, you cost me money because I had to protect my family… Costa Rica’s not big enough for this lawsuit that’s coming your way… Just so we’re clear, just so we’re really clear, I want these protections in place for the current president, for his family, for my family. Sir, the fact that you don’t give a crap that it endangered me is unconscionable, and I’m going to get my lawyer and I’m coming for you.”

Yas, Whoopi. You go, girl, go!
