Last week, proud father Billy Ray Cyrus inadvertently sent the rumor mill spinning when he shared a pic on Instagram of his daughter, Miley, in a white dress with a caption just vague enough to convince eager fans that she was planning to tie the knot with boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Clearly it doesn’t take much!

But this weekend Billy Ray set the record straight. Sort of.

The singer reposted the same snapshot, but this time captioned it with, “Whoa! Don’t jump the gun. Been at work #StillTheKing Glad to see so many love @MileyCyrus the same as I do #happy.”
