For Michael Bublé, family comes first.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 41-year-old singer has withdrawn from hosting Canada’s biggest music awards show, the Juno Awards, to be there for his son while he continues to fight cancer. Noah, who is 3 years old, was diagnosed back in November, and has been undergoing chemotherapy since then to shrink his tumor.

This is not the first time Michael has made his son his top priority. Back in December Michael cancelled a performance at the BBC Music Awards, and he opted out of hosting the 2017 Brit Awards in February to be there for his family.

Mike Consentino of Bell Media, the company broadcasting the Juno Awards, put out a statement saying that comedian Russell Peters and singer Bryan Adams will step in for Michael. He also said, “Our thoughts continue to be with Michael — we respect his ongoing commitment to his family and look forward to working with him again in the future.”

Thankfully, little Noah is a fighter. His uncle, actor Dario Lopilato told La Nation that he is making good progress with his treatment. He said, “After these very long months Noah is doing well, very well.”

We’re sending the family lots of love and well wishes.
