It’s been three decades since U2’s Joshua Tree was released.  Now we’re feeling old!

Thirty years ago today, fans stayed up all night wearing out their cassette tapes.  Over 25 million copies of this epic hit album have been sold since 1987.

What was your favorite track off the album?  “Where the Streets Have No Name,” or “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” or “With or Without You.”  Oh, the memories!

In honor of the 30th anniversary, U2 will head out on a Joshua Tree tour and perform the entire album for fans.

The concert event will kick off May 12 in Vancouver, making a stop at Bonnaroo which marks the first time U2 has headlined the Tennessee festival.

It looks like they’ve found what they’ve been looking for!
