Actress Jessica Chastain was seen today taking a stand for a good cause! March 8 marks International Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually across the globe. It was originally known as International Working Women’s Day, and commemorates the movement for women’s rights, a cause that is front and center right now. Organizers have asked people to wear different colors across the world to represent different aspects of the strike. In Poland they are wearing black to focus on abortion and femicide.

Jessica stood with other women in solidarity, greeted fans and even posed for selfies. The sign she’s holding translates to “International Women’s Day.”
