There’s no doubt that Logan is one of the Spring’s biggest movies. The movie shows Wolverine as a dad with kids and a home — how cool is that? But digging a little deeper into the man behind the blades, Entertainment Weekly asked Hugh Jackman what it’s really like to have Wolverine as a dad.

“I do remember catching him out on the beach in Australia, once when he was 12, talking to a 15-year-old girl,” Hugh said of his son. “And I could hear him saying, ‘Yeah, my dad is Wolverine.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, he’s worked that one out.’”

When his son was smaller, he even had a wolverine doll. “He used to roll over in the middle of night and hear these very sort of violent little three or four word phrases… that he was just taking in sublimely,” he said.
