Orange Is The New Black and The Handmaid’s Tale star Samira Wiley got engaged to OITNB writer Lauren Morelli last October, and now that it’s March, the two were ready to party it up for their bachelorette celebration!

Samira partied at the Miami club E11EVEN with 13 of her friends, many of whom included OITNB co-stars, including Danielle Brooks and Uzo Aduba. According to E! News, Samira engaged in an all night celebration as they finished a magnum of Don Julio 1942 and Belvedere before ending the night.

The next morning, Danielle Brookes tweeted that the night was LIT!

In an interview with Out magazine, Lauren talked about the night she proposed during a getaway to Palm Springs: “I realized I could propose right before and then we’d have the weekend there to celebrate. I found a ring, and they shipped it to me, and it was as if someone had handed me a ball of fire and said, ‘Here, tend to this.’”

In The Handmaid’s Tale, Samira plays a queer character named Moira. Set in a time and place where they punish LGBT people, the actress feels a special calling to the show.

“Especially in the post-Trump world, I’ve had some real moments of panic,” she said in the current issue of The Advocate. “And I’m trying to quell that and keep that down because I don’t think that helps anything. I don’t think panic helps anything. I have been able to imagine what that would be like… It’s not something I’ve ever really thought of before, especially since we’ve had a president who made legal gay marriage equal throughout our entire country. I will never forget that, and I remember the White House being lit up in rainbow colors.”
