CBS is planning to move forward with Big Bang Theory prequel, Sheldon, even though it hasn’t officially got an order for a pilot — but who the heck would reject that idea?!

Iain Armitage, star of Big Little Lies, will be playing the lead role of Sheldon, and the lucky gal to play his mom is Zoe Perry from Scandal, reports Hollywood Reporter. 

The show will reportedly be written by Big Bang co-creator Chuck Lorre and showrunner Steve Molaro, with fellow co-creator Bill Prady. So far, the show has been described as Malcom in the Middle, only with the character of Sheldon!
