Oh No! Kate Hudson is in a Very Sad Custody Battle With Chris Robinson

Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson divorced in 2007 after being married for seven years, and in the settlement they agreed to have joint custody of their son Ryder. But now, Chris has filed to re-open the agreement — and spectators are asking why?

According to E! News, The Black Crowes singer is hoping to have the agreement re-evaluated by the court, which names Chris as the petitioner and Kate as the respondent.

Both Kate and Chris agreed for the court to assign an evaluator to perform the evaluation and make recommendations on a parental plan to address both legal and physical custody, which includes where Ryder will live as well as visitation orders.

The evaluator will also agree to access doctor-patient and psychotherapist-patient privilege, and also access to health, mental health, education, employment and other records for both Kate and Chris. Additionally, they both might have to do an alcohol and psychological test.

And to add a little insult to somewhat injury, the documents say Kate needs to pay the $7,500 fee that comes from the evaluation.
