There is tremendous art in molding the perfect Oscar acceptance speech, but for those who’ve actually won an Oscar I’m sure they’d tell you the trick is spontaneity. In other words, memorize only a little bit and let fate take over the rest. Sometimes it works, other times you put your foot in your mouth.
