Why Did Ricky Gervais Have to Leave The Stage Mid-Show???
Ricky Gervais had to stop in the middle of his stand-up act, and it was no laughing matter.
The comedian abruptly left the stage for about 10-minutes on Wednesday night during the second night of his “Humanity” tour at Bristol’s Colton Hall. When he returned to the stage, Ricky reassure the guests that he “wasn’t dead,” and went on with the show. After it ended, however, he admitted on Twitter that he actually had feared for his life. He tweeted, “Thanks to the amazing audience in Bristol tonight. They even laughed when I thought I was having a heart attack. #Humanity.”
The next day The Office star let fans know he was ok:
