Ricky Martin Wants More Kids And This Time He’s Going For Girls
Though Ricky Martin is a proud dad of 8-year-old twin boys, Matteo and Valentino, he doesn’t want to stop there. The singer stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen yesterday, and revealed his plans to grow his adorable family, this time, with some girls. “I want a big family,” Ricky shared. “Daddy’s little girl has to come.”
Because Ricky used surrogacy to have his boys, he had control over the gender. He added, “It’s funny because the way we do babies, I get to choose the sex. So definitely girls are coming.”
Fatherhood was always a dream for Ricky, and he is clearly loving it. Back in 2008, Ricky told PEOPLE, “I’m so happy! Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing. Being a father feels amazing. This has been the most spiritual moment in my life.”
Though he did it on his own last time, this time his fiancé, Jwan Yosef, will be along for the ride. And Jwan wants his own biological kids as well. Ricky said, ““I’m talking about my babies. And then he is going to have more babies as well. Genetically, connection.”
When asked if he would be up for twins again, Ricky responded, “Listen — if still we have the energy, let’s do it! I don’t have a problem. If there’s two, there’s two.”
Looks like a very busy future for the happy couple!
