Remember when Nicole and Zoe’s dad, the one and only Lenny Kravitz, dated back in 2003? Well according the actress, they were once engaged. While rumors about their engagement were everywhere, there was no official confirmation during that time.

“Well, I knew Zoë because I was engaged to her father. It’s all in the family!,” Nicole said to The EDIT. “I love Lenny; he’s a great guy.”

The two dated after Nicole’s infamous divorce from Tom Cruise. In a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair, she once said, ““It just wasn’t right. I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready.”

Later in 2006, Nicole married Keith Urban, but she and Lenny remain good friends.
