You know Ryan Murphy is always looking for an opportunity to make his shows reflect our culture, and he always succeeds! Well this time, the producer/creator/writer is taking it to a whole other level.

On an appearance with Watch What Happens Live, Ryan revealed that season seven of the FX anthology will tackle the November 8 election, i.e. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Now that is truly an American Horror Story!

“[It’s] going to be about the election that we just went through so I think that will be interesting for a lot of people,” Ryan told Andy Cohen. When asked whether there will be a character based on now-President Trump, Ryan said “maybe.”

Thankfully, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peteres were confirmed to return for two more seasons. The seventh season will be shooting this summer.
